ACCONEER XM126 - New IoT Module Based on A121 in the Pipeline
Advanced Coherent Radar for Low-Power Connectivity
ACCONEER is developing the XM126, a second module with the A121 pulsed coherent radar sensor, which offers even better performance than the existing, very popular, XM122. It is a low-power radar module and the perfect choice for customers who want to develop connected, battery-powered products.
Wireless Connectivity for IoT Solutions
The module will be offered in an optimised circular form factor with a diameter of 33mm. It integrates the A121 sensor with Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 System-on-Chip, that supports a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M4 and several options for wireless connectivity like Bluetooth 5.4 BLE. Just like XM122, the XM126 will be compatible with the XA122 battery board and the waterproof CA122 IoT casing.
With the release of the XM126 there will be a total of seven modules available in three different segments: High-performance modules for customers who want high processing power, IoT modules for use cases where built-in connectivity is needed and entry modules for lowest possible system cost. The new module and an evaluation kit will be available towards the end of 2023.
