Board & Wire Connectors
Flexible Solutions for Printed Circuit Boards
CODICO has a very extensive PCB connectors portfolio that enables the best possible solution to be made for every application. It includes:
- Complex board-to-board connectors
- Flexible PCB solutions
- Wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connectors
Complex Board-To-Board Connections
The range of PCB connectors extends from simple pin/socket combinations to complex board-to-board connections with tolerance compensation.
Floating contacts allow a tolerance compensation in case of misalignment, vibrations or dimensional errors. Due to the "clearance" between the contacts, floating board-to-board connectors can be securely mated even if they are not fully centred. This is not possible with conventional designs, especially when several connections are made on one board.
In addition to industrial applications such as medical equipment, POS terminals, servo motors and PLC controllers, these also have a strong presence in the automotive sector for power trains, as well as infotainment and ADAS systems.
Flexible Solutions for Printed Circuit Boards
CODICO offers solutions for parallel, vertical and co-planar PCBs from a pitch of 0.35 mm and plug-in heights of 0.6 mm. Connections with an audible "click", special platings (e.g. 30µ" gold for industrial applications) and hybrid connectors for power and signal currents are just a few highlights from CODICO’s portfolio.
Wire-To-Board & Wire-To-Wire (In-Line) Connections
Especially for interfaces in the power range, larger cable cross-sections, higher voltages and maximum currents are required. On the other hand, in line with the trend towards progressive miniaturization, the components are to become ever smaller and ensure reliable contact even when exposed to shocks, vibrations and shocks.
CODICO offers a wide range of PCB connectors in various sizes, pitches, pin counts, conductor insertion directions, connection technologies and applicable cross-sections to meet these requirements. CODICO’s solutions from world-renowned manufacturers are suitable for all areas of application, such as industry, data and telecom, consumer, medical, power, LED, automotive, household appliances (white goods), HVAC and aviation. Even extreme temperature ranges between -65°C and +175°C can be covered with special connector series.
