Character OLEDs
Character OLEDs Have Specified Pixel Ranges
Character OLEDs differ from other passive matrix OLED displays in that they have specified pixel ranges. Character OLEDs are defined by indicating the number of characters in a row and the number of vertical lines. For example 20x2 means 20 characters with 2 lines. This means that the range of character OLEDs can be easily overviewed. Starting with 8x2, over 16 and 20 characters up to 20x4 variants. Character OLEDs are available in white, blue, red, green and yellow and are configured as COG (Chip On Glass) and COB (Chip On Board) variants. They are controlled via SPI, I2C or parallel interface.
We would be happy to advise you on your project and, together with our partners MULTI-INNO and WISECHIP, we can make customer-specific adaptations for all types of character OLEDs.
