The AstraOneSBC-1680 offers a wide range of interfaces, including Mini-HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0 ports, a CSI camera input, and two M.2 slots (PCIe Gen2 and USB/UART/SDIO). A 40-pin expansion header further enhances flexibility, enabling integration of vision systems, communication modules, and storage solutions.
High-Performance Platform for AI and Industrial Applications
Based on the SYNAPTICS Astra platform, the board integrates the AstraSOM-1680 featuring four Arm® Cortex®-A73 cores (up to 2.1GHz), 2x2GB LPDDR4 RAM, 16GB eMMC, and an 8 TOPS NPU. This combination makes it well suited for applications in industrial automation, robotics, smart vision, and IoT.
Efficient Operation and Integrated Security Features
Designed for operation in demanding environments, the system supports a wide input voltage range of 12 to 24V DC, operates with high energy efficiency, and requires no active cooling. Security features such as Arm TrustZone® and an OPTIGA Secure Element from Infineon™ ensure hardware-based key storage and secure cryptographic operations.
Rugged Design for Industrial Environments
Mechanically, the board features a robust, industrial-grade design with components including a right-angle 2-pin power socket, RJ-45 Ethernet port, three USB ports (including two USB 3.0), Mini-HDMI, two M.2 expansion slots, and a 40-pin header. Three status LEDs provide clear system indication. The design is built for harsh environments and supports reliable operation across an extended temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.
