Platinum Sensors
Long-Term Stability
Platinum-based temperature sensors (RTDs – Resistance Temperature Detectors) deliver high precision and long-term stability for demanding applications. As platinum resistance thermometers, they combine a near-linear temperature-resistance characteristic with excellent measurement accuracy and reliability.
Due to the wide range of application scenarios, these sensors vary in both mechanical design and electrical characteristics. The portfolio includes multiple form factors such as threaded sensors, stainless steel probes, cable-based and tubular designs, as well as compact, fully encapsulated variants, enabling seamless integration into a broad spectrum of systems.
Samples Contacts NewsVersions and Customized Solutions
The RTD sensors are available in the standardized PT100 and PT1000 versions, covering a typical operating temperature range from -40 to +150°C. They are characterized by stable, low-drift, and highly reproducible measurement performance across the entire temperature range, making them ideal for applications where precise temperature sensing and long-term stability are critical.
In addition, THINKING develops customized RTD solutions tailored precisely to specific application requirements and environmental conditions.
