Advanced Full-Bridge Solution for Automotive DC Motors
With MPQ6615-AEC1 MPS is presenting a Full-Bridge DC motor driver for automotive user cases. The H-bridge consists of four N-channel power MOSFETs. The on resistance (RDSON) of each MOSFET is 11mΩ when the junction temperature (TJ) is at 25°C.
Versatile Automotive Full-Bridge Solution with 4.75V to 40V Range and 8A Output
The MPQ6615-AEC1 operates across a 4.75V to 40V motor power supply voltage, and it can deliver up to 8A of continuous output current (IOUT), depending on thermal and PCB conditions. The device’s internal charge pump even generates the gate driver supply voltages for the high-side MOSFETs (HS-FETs), and a trickle charge circuit maintains sufficient gate driver voltages for 100% duty cycle operation.
