OSM for Maximum Design Flexibility
The portfolio includes Wi-Fi7 and Wi-Fi4 System-on-Modules (SOMs) based on the Qualcomm IPQ-53xx and QCA4531 chipset families. All modules comply with the Open Standard Module (OSM) specification, an open, vendor-independent standard for ultra-compact, solderable modules. One of the key advantages is pin compatibility between OSM modules from different manufacturers, reducing development effort while providing long-term design flexibility.
Modules for Access Point and Client Applications
In addition to its SOM portfolio, METICOMM offers Wi-Fi7 radio modules based on Qualcomm's Waikiki platform (QCN-6274 and QCN-9274) for high-performance access point applications. Client solutions based on the Qualcomm QCC-2072 are also available, supporting both PCIe and SDIO interfaces.
