XC6194 Series: Ultra-Low Power Load Switch for IoT
Maximizing Standby Time for Wearables and IoT
To maximize the standby time in your next wearable or IoT project, the XC6194 series from TOREX Semiconductor sets new standards in power management. With an industry-leading standby current of just 0.001µA, this IC combines a push-button function with a high-side load switch – all in an ultra-low-profile package with a height of only 0.33mm.

In addition to its minimal footprint, the series offers smart features such as adjustable turn-on/off delay times to prevent accidental activation, as well as a forced shutdown function that allows “frozen” systems to be reset without removing the battery. By replacing bulky discrete solutions, this all-in-one chip significantly reduces PCB space while ensuring devices remain ready for use even after extended storage periods.
Comprehensive Protection and Control Functions
The IC supports an input voltage range from 1.8V~6.0V and, in addition to its extremely low standby current (only 0.001µA typ.), includes a wide range of integrated protection and convenience features. These include a power-good function (PG pin), a shutdown function (SHDN pin), soft-start to limit inrush current, output capacitor discharge, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and thermal shutdown. What Applications is the XC6194 Series Suitable For?
The IC is designed for industrial use with an operating ambient temperature range of −40°C to +85°C and is available in a compact USP-8B06 package (2.0×2.0×0.33mm). Typical applications include wearables, wireless headphones/earphones, IoT devices, push-button or mechanical switch applications, waterproof devices, and smart card applications.
The XC6194 series is already in mass production. Samples and evaluation boards are available on request from CODICO.
